Option 1: In the app (fastest)
- Open Refrigenerate and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account (also in Me → Privacy & Your Data → Delete my account).
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email us from the email address of your account and include your username. We'll confirm and delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account (email address and username) and your profile (bio and profile photo)
- Your posts and dish photos, captions and published recipes
- Your comments, likes, star ratings and follows
- Your notifications and your privacy consent record
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. If you delete your account in the app, your personal data stored only on that phone (ingredient list, diet and allergies, offline cookbook and settings) is removed too. The downloaded AI tool files contain no personal data; remove them in AI Kitchen → ⚙️ Manage AI tools, or by uninstalling the app.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you. Residual copies in our hosting provider's encrypted backups are overwritten as part of its normal backup cycle.
Only want to remove some data?
- A post: open it in the Feed and delete it. Its photo is removed with it.
- Data on your phone: Me → Privacy & Your Data → Clear data on this phone.
- A copy of your data first: Me → Privacy & Your Data → Download my data.
