These terms are an agreement between you and Defyne Corporation ("we", "us") for using the Refrigenerate app and this website (together, "Refrigenerate"). By creating an account or using Refrigenerate, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Refrigenerate.
1. Who can use Refrigenerate
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need your parent's or guardian's permission. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.
2. AI recipes are suggestions, not professional advice
Recipes, cooking times, temperatures and dietary filters are created by an AI on your phone. AI can make mistakes. Always check ingredient labels for allergens, cook food until it is safely done, and use your own judgement. Refrigenerate is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice; ask a qualified professional about health conditions, allergies or special diets.
Dish photos suggested with a recipe are sample photos of a similar dish, not the exact recipe.
3. Your content
You own the photos, captions, comments, recipes and other content you share. By sharing it in Refrigenerate, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it within Refrigenerate so the community can see it. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
Only share content you created or have the right to share. You are responsible for it, and it must follow our Community Guidelines.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Refrigenerate to:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or harm others, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
- post anything involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children (we report it to the authorities);
- spam, scam, or manipulate likes, follows or ratings;
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- break, overload, reverse-engineer or get unauthorised access to the app or our systems.
We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or our guidelines.
5. The app and its AI tools
Refrigenerate is currently free. The on-device AI tools are a one-time download that uses storage and data on your device; Wi-Fi is recommended. We may update, change or stop features, and we may ask you to update the app to keep using it. The Refrigenerate name, logo, design and software belong to Defyne Corporation, and we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime from the app (Me → Delete Account) or by asking us. Deleting your account permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Refrigenerate is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that recipes will suit your needs, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for harm from following a recipe without the care described in section 2. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be limited.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be handled by the proper courts of the Philippines.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will tell you in the app before they apply. Continuing to use Refrigenerate after that means you accept the new terms.
